Fall Inspired Photoshoot

Fall 2009 as I'm driving to Pomfret, Connecticut I think to myself where is this place and how come I've never seen this part of CT! Up and down hills and away we were. Finally the destination Tyrone Farm. The setting this beautiful rustic barn in the middle of nowhere. If you can imagine Connecticut in peak foliage season with vibrant colors and green rolling hills as far as the eye could see! I was in another world and I was loving it! So we were invited here today to display one of our Couture Confection displays. The inspiration board rustic, cozy, warm, fall inspired desserts, hot apple cider, and cinnamon sticks everything that a fall inspired bride would dream of! When we were asked to be a part of this shoot I immediately started to think of all things fall! Here are the confections that Lovely Lollies created first I thought what's fall without a s'more around a campfire! So I decided to create these miniature s'more cupcakes complete with a  graham cracker crust, chocolate cake and a marshmallow frosting on a lollipop stick! The apple doesn't fall far from the tree, and let's face it an apple a day keeps the doctor away. So candied apples with swirls of rich caramel and chocolate covered cranberries was a must. We also included caramel kettle popcorn with roasted peanuts placed in brown paper bags almost like cracker jack, but better! Then I took walnuts and glazed them with a maple sugar! For cookies we decided to create a meringue on top of a pound cake stem to resemble mushrooms, and a hearty oatmeal cranberry with a white chocolate glaze.  We had pieces of our oh la la fudge on sticks, and our buttery cinnamon sugar snail danish! To top it all off we created miniature pumpkin pies with a chocolate ganache drizzle. All of the confections were plated on antique silver platters and vintage cake stands. This shoot was nothing less than amazing!!!!
